How do I set the proper volume for the microphone? With the Phonevite Recorder launched, click on the microphone bar and adjust the volume so that, as you are recording, the shifting sound level indicators fit as much as possible within the two horizontal dotted lines. Some audio hardware devices have their own volume/mixer control. In such cases, please adjust the volume within the device.
